Job Description

Maintenance Technician - Automotive Manufacturing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess tooling condition, identify repair needs, and determine an approach to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Support production by reducing equipment downtime and scrap through good analytical methodologies.
  • Perform equipment and facilities preventive maintenance per schedule, documenting all activities.
  • Recommend changes to tooling, processes, and equipment to improve productivity and uptime.
  • Repair equipment as required, documenting all activities to maintain a mean time to repair (MTTR) of less than 30 minutes.
  • Assist in fabricating and implementing projects as needed.
  • Maintain a healthy and safe work environment, adhering to company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Document all activities as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma and 4 years of experience in Industrial maintenance.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 2 years of Preventative Maintenance experience.
  • Abilities to read blueprints and machine schematics.
  • Competent in pneumatics, electrical, and Lock out Tag out applications.
  • Working knowledge of tools, including drill presses, mills, and belt sanders.
  • Basic abilities to weld.
  • Able to operate a computer and maintain records of maintenance.
  • Analytical skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage time and responsibilities independently.
  • Valid driver's license required.
