**Job Summary**

Optimal Staffing is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer Body Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the Plant Vehicle Team, you will be responsible for managing actions to improve current model quality and evaluating the impact of engineering changes on Body Shop tooling and processes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Launch support for large-scale new model programs
  • Launch lead on small-scale new model programs
  • Production support for issue resolution
  • Single point of contact for Body Construction responsibilities

**Requirements**

  • CAD program skills (AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, etc.)
  • Microsoft suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
  • Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
  • Experience with tooling, processes and facilities desired
  • Working knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, Minitab, etc.)
  • 1+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
