Product Analysis Engineer

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a skilled Product Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Analysis Laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our biomedical implant products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products to identify root causes.
- Develop and implement investigative protocols to analyze failures and provide technical expertise to the Product Analysis Laboratory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance, to ensure seamless product development and quality control.
- Support the definition of test equipment and procedures to ensure quality responsibilities are met.
- Comply with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations, and maintain positive and cooperative communications with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Science, or a closely related discipline.
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and specialized applications.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
