Abbott, a global healthcare leader, is seeking a skilled Product Analysis Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Product Analysis Laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our biomedical implant products.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough failure analysis on explanted biomedical implant products to identify root causes and develop investigative protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product Surveillance, to drive quality improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement circuit analysis and device/component level failure analysis techniques to identify failure mechanisms.
- Provide technical expertise and mentorship to less experienced lab staff to drive problem-solving and quality improvements.
- Support the definition of test equipment and procedures to ensure quality responsibilities are met.
- Comply with FDA regulations, Company policies, and Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience).
- Comprehensive written and verbal communication, interpersonal, facilitation, presentation, quantitative, analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Personal computer skills, including spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and specialized applications.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
