Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

thyssenkrupp nucera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the proposal preparation team
  • Oversee the end-to-end proposal process to ensure timely and high-quality submissions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposals
  • Review and edit proposals to ensure alignment with client needs and objectives
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Use market insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, proposal success rates, and other relevant metrics
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Qualifications/Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Business or a related field; Master's degree is a plus
  • Proven experience 6 + years in senior sales and/or proposal management roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to regularly travel to trade shows and retail locations
