We are in search of a professional to oversee on-site coordination for all stages of construction projects. This includes managing subcontractors, materials, and equipment, ensuring strict adherence to specifications, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The Site Supervisor will be accountable for scheduling, inspections, quality assurance, and job site safety. This role does not involve physical labor unless explicitly authorized by Senior Management after prior written notice has been provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Reporting: Submit end-of-day reports to the Project Manager/Assistant Project Manager.
  • Site Safety: Ensure all personnel and subcontractors are equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and that job site safety is upheld according to company safety protocols.
  • Site Management: Be the first to arrive and the last to leave the job site.
  • Site Cleanliness: Maintain a tidy job site at all times, ensuring it is free from dust and food.
  • Project Scheduling: Collaborate with the Project Manager to keep an accurate and updated project schedule that reflects any changes in project status, meeting both cost and time constraints.
  • Team Communication: Engage with the project team regarding Additional Service Requests (ASIs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and Material Submittals.
  • Quality Management: Oversee the process and quality of the project in alignment with the established plans.
  • On-Site Personnel Management: Conduct walkthroughs with subcontractors and foster positive relationships with on-site staff.
  • Workmanship Standards: Ensure all work meets acceptable quality standards.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understand building codes, safety guidelines, and regulations relevant to construction projects.
  • Liaison Role: Act as the intermediary between the Assistant Project Manager and field staff.
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct daily safety inspections.
  • Equipment Understanding: Have knowledge of construction equipment for inspection, operation, and maintenance.
  • Preconstruction Collaboration: Work with the project manager to identify and resolve constructability issues or scope deficiencies during the preconstruction phase.
  • Punch List Management: Maintain and review the punch list process to ensure timely resolution of all items.
  • Safety Meetings: Facilitate weekly safety meetings on-site as per the company’s safety program.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Experience in managing, training, and developing team members.
  • Project experience should encompass ground-up construction, renovations in both occupied and unoccupied settings, and familiarity with urban and suburban environments, along with a thorough understanding of high-quality finishes.

Training Requirements:

  • Unrestricted Supervisors License (CSL)
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • SDP Safety Certification
  • Scaffolding Training
