Position Summary:

The Roofing Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing field activities. This role requires constant communication with Project Managers to guarantee that projects are executed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of roofing practices, techniques, codes, and regulations.
  • Manage crew foremen and oversee all commercial roofing field operations.
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, while enforcing safety protocols on-site.
  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinator to arrange material loading and deliveries.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information to Foremen prior to project commencement.
  • Oversee scheduling, inventory control, and labor budget management.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure critical activities are completed first.
  • Interpret blueprints, construction specifications, and perform detailed take-offs as necessary.
  • Make informed decisions and manage on-site crises arising from unforeseen circumstances.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with Building Owners, Engineers, and general contracting superintendents during site meetings and visits.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Superintendent in a commercial roofing environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including single-ply, asphalt, cold applied, hot applied, and metal projects is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • OSHA Safety certification.
  • Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
