Cartographer and Geospatial Analyst Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Cartographer and Geospatial Analyst to join our team at PacifiCorp. As a key member of our GIS department, you will be responsible for performing critical business support functions including geospatial science and analysis, spatial data acquisition, geospatial modeling, database development, data management, and maintaining data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement moderately complex GIS processes including sourcing data, data extraction, geospatial analysis, manipulation, transformation, integration, mapping, and GIS application solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of required exhibits for submission to stakeholders and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
- Collaborate with internal company clients to solve business problems using GIS technology and knowledge.
- Conduct thorough research and gathering of data, interpreting results, and presenting findings in reports or map products.
Requirements:
We require a Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information System (GIS), Natural Resources, Geography, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of five years of utility GIS-related experience is necessary, as well as expertise in ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail are essential.
Estimated Salary Range: $76,200 - $89,600 per annum
