Geographic Information Systems Manager

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) manager to join our team in Portland, OR. As a GIS manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of geospatial solutions that support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement GIS processes and solutions to support various business functions, including land management, facility relicensing, and regulatory reporting.
- Leverage ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro to create high-end cartographic products and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and develop customized GIS solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior GIS staff members.
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Natural Resources, Geography, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of experience using ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Pro, with a strong background in spatial analysis and data management.
- Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical practices and techniques to complex GIS assignments.
- Advanced degree in GIS or a related field.
- Experience using Safe Software FME and Python programming languages.
PacifiCorp offers a competitive salary range of $76,200 - $89,600, plus an annual discretionary performance incentive bonus of up to 12.00% of salary. Additional benefits include health care, retirement, paid time off, tuition assistance, paid short-term and long-term disability, and paid bereavement leave.
