Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced REI Administrative Specialist to join our team at IVI America. This is a full-time position that will work closely with nurses and other multidisciplinary teams to coordinate total patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement administrative systems and procedures to ensure efficient patient care coordination.
  • Facilitate the planning and implementation of patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Assist nurses with completion of patient checklists and monitor patient charts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure all required documentation is collected, including insurance and financial information, and enter relevant data into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
  • Confirm labs are completed and entered in patient files, and verify appropriate consents have been signed and recorded.
  • Work with insurance companies to initiate prior authorization for procedures and follow up on results/reports from genetic testing and counseling.
  • Cover Clinical Assistant duties as needed and provide high-level customer service to patients.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a multi-physician practice with proven work experience in both clinical and administrative areas; Women's Health experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma acceptable with appropriate hands-on experience; Associate Degree and/or CMA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement required.
  • An understanding of physicians', nurses', and patients' motivations and concerns with a sensitivity to their needs.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
