Pharmacy Technician Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Specialist to join our team at Lifespan. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and packaging
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and customers
- Operate multiple pharmacy system applications to access and retrieve patient information
- Process payment transactions and manage inventory
- Rotate to all applicable work assignments and shifts as business need dictates
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent degree
- Current unrestricted Rhode Island Pharmacy Technician licensure
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) or minimum of one-year licensed pharmacy technician work experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and email applications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Work Environment:
The Pharmacy Technician Specialist will work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks while maintaining accuracy and service standards.
