Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health/Chemical Health Counselor to join our team. As an Onsite EAP Counselor, you will provide confidential support and guidance to employees, helping them navigate mental health and chemical dependency issues.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and refer employees to appropriate programs and services, including behavioral health, substance abuse, and community-based resources.
- Provide limited aftercare monitoring to ensure employee safety and continuation of treatment.
- Conduct on-site training services for managers and employees on wellness, performance management, and trauma-informed care.
- Utilize UHG computer systems to document member contact and case management.
- Follow internal ethical and regulatory policies, maintaining confidentiality and private health information of members.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in a recognized behavioral health discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in a behavioral health setting, with training in EAP, workplace, and organizational dynamics.
- Experience in managed care, private or public clinics, with emphasis on mental health, chemical dependency, and workplace issues.
- EAP experience and proficiency with MS Office applications.
