Position: Human Resource Recruiter

Location: Fort Wayne, IN

Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday and 7:30 AM - 11:30 AM Friday

Starting Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 (based on relevant experience and education)

JOB SUMMARY

The Human Resource Recruiter plays a crucial role in executing recruitment strategies for the organization. This position collaborates with the Human Resource Manager and Human Resource Assistant to fulfill hiring objectives and may assist in various recruitment activities as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the posting of job vacancies across multiple recruitment platforms and publications.
  • Engage with potential candidates, educational institutions, and community organizations to identify talent.
  • Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Conduct preliminary phone screenings and reference checks as required.
  • Utilize Brightpoint's applicant tracking systems and Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
  • Support all HR recruitment functions for Brightpoint and its subsidiaries.
  • Assist the HR Manager, HR Assistant, and HR Benefits Coordinator as needed.
  • Facilitate the hiring process as required.
  • Conduct background checks as necessary.
  • Support orientation processes as needed.
  • Assist with filing and documentation.
  • Attend two HR training sessions annually through seminars or webinars.
  • Actively participate in all staff meetings, Brightpoint's improvement initiatives, and professional development training.
  • Comply with Brightpoint's personnel policies, EEO/AA regulations, fiscal procedures, and workplace guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of 2 years of recruitment or HR experience. An Associate Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong computer skills with various recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both the public and internal staff.
  • Must possess the capability to recruit assertively, both over the phone and in person.
  • Willingness to travel for job fairs, events, training, and other recruitment activities. A valid Indiana driver's license and minimum liability insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 are required when driving for Brightpoint.
