About the Role:

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a dedicated Product Associate to join our Institutional Client Group. This position is integral in facilitating technical support and sales initiatives that enhance client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and foster business development.

The Product Associate will be responsible for analyzing intricate subjects and conveying insights effectively to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with a Client Portfolio Manager and team members within the Institutional Client Group.
  • Generate written analyses to assist professionals in our Institutional Client Group, Client Service, and Marketing teams in evaluating and communicating various elements of our clients' portfolios.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, investment proposals, and performance reports for client and prospect meetings, as well as other internal and external engagements.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses to bolster client service and marketing efforts.
  • Perform quantitative assessments of portfolios, performance metrics, and competitive analyses for current and potential investment strategies.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams, including Portfolio Management, Client Services, Report Servicing, Marketing, and Risk and Compliance, to address client requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine interest in financial markets and investment strategies. A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative are essential. Strong communication skills and strategic thinking capabilities are highly valued. You should thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

We are looking for candidates with:
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Data fluency with the ability to identify data discrepancies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with statistical coding languages (e.g., R or Matlab) is advantageous.
  • Experience with eVestment Alliance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry regulations is beneficial.
