Position Overview:
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently seeking a Product Associate to join our Institutional Client Group.

The Product Associate will be instrumental in supporting the technical servicing and sales efforts essential for managing client relationships, delivering exceptional service, and fostering business growth.

This role involves analyzing intricate topics and effectively communicating findings to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with a Client Portfolio Manager and team members throughout the Institutional Client Group:

  • Generate written commentaries to assist professionals in our Institutional Client Group, Client Service, and Marketing teams in evaluating and communicating various aspects of our clients' portfolios.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, investment proposals, and performance reports for client and prospect meetings, as well as other internal and external engagements.
  • Conduct regular and ad hoc analyses to bolster client service and marketing efforts.
  • Perform quantitative portfolio, performance, and competitive analyses for both existing and prospective investment strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Portfolio Management, Client Services, Report Servicing, Marketing, and Risk and Compliance, to address client needs and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects as requested or assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Additionally, candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Data fluency with the ability to identify data discrepancies.
  • The capacity to articulate insights clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with statistical coding languages (e.g., R or Matlab) is advantageous.
  • Experience with eVestment Alliance is a plus.
  • Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and industry regulations is beneficial.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing.

The anticipated base salary ranges provided are specific to the indicated locations and may vary in other areas due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may differ based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
