Job Summary:

As an Administrative Associate at Rady Children's Hospital, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the department/unit. This includes routine office, clerical, and customer service duties, as well as scheduling people and activities. You will work with external, inter, and intra-departmental teams to provide quality assistance and service related to processing work requests, triaging calls and visitors. You will also recognize and respect confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff
Schedule appointments and meetings
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Collaborate with departmental teams to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher
1 year of experience in an administrative role
Experience with office reception and/or multi-line phones
Typing/keyboarding at 40 wpm
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and/or Access

Compensation:

The expected hiring range for this position is $21.00 to $28.88. Rady Children's Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. We conduct regular market reviews to remain competitive with organizations of similar size in the nonprofit, healthcare sector. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors, including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
