Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn and Home2 Las Vegas Convention Center. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle hotel phone system, transferring calls and taking messages for guests.
  • Take, modify, and cancel guestroom reservations.
  • Deal with guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, coordinating with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Perform cashier duties, including cashing traveler's checks and posting phone charges to guest accounts.
  • Notify housekeeping and maintenance of any reported problems with guestrooms or grounds.
  • Follow hotel security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Front Office area.
Additional Responsibilities
  • The hotel operates 24/7, and employees may be required to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Employees are expected to adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain control and composure in difficult situations and exhibit good judgment.
