Job Summary

Fortune School of Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to play a vital role in the development of interns. As a Field Supervisor, you will work under the guidance of the Program Director to provide guidance and support to district interns, observing, assessing, and providing feedback to ensure compliance with program requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with district interns to ensure a smooth and successful internship experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to district interns, including observing and assessing their teaching practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Complete and collect all required documentation through Fortune's Learning Management System.
  • Participate in program meetings and contribute to the development of interns.
Requirements
  • Masters' degree in Education or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
  • A clear California teaching credential - Single Subject: Math OR a California Administrative Services credential.
  • Exemplary record of teaching and experience coaching/mentoring beginning teachers.
  • Experience utilizing the latest research-based strategies in critical pedagogy, culturally sustaining pedagogy, and funds of community cultural wealth.
  • Ability to provide resources for addressing the needs of English Learners and Students with Special Needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team.
