Job Summary

The State Water Resources Control Board is seeking a highly skilled Geological Engineering Specialist to join our team in the Los Angeles Coastal Unit. As a key member of our Underground Storage Tank Section, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in geological engineering and environmental geology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the development and implementation of geological engineering projects
  • Conduct site investigations and assessments to identify potential environmental hazards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain geological databases and maps
  • Communicate complex technical information to stakeholders through reports and presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geological Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in geological engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
