As the Lead Engineer for CI/CD Operations, you will be instrumental in refining our software development lifecycle, automation, and deployment methodologies. You will guide a skilled team of engineers and collaborate with various departments to ensure effective, dependable, and scalable software delivery.

The Infrastructure Engineering team is rapidly expanding, with engineers located across Europe and the United States.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Engineering Managers at Collibra:
  • CI/CD Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a robust CI/CD strategy to optimize software development, testing, and deployment workflows.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, offering direction, establishing objectives, and fostering their professional development.
  • Promoting DevOps Culture: Encourage a collaborative and continuous improvement environment by advocating for DevOps best practices and principles.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Oversight: Supervise the adoption of IaC methodologies to automate infrastructure setup and configuration.
  • Tooling and Automation Evaluation: Assess, select, and deploy CI/CD tools and automation frameworks to boost software delivery efficiency and quality.
  • Security and Compliance Collaboration: Work alongside Security and other departments to enhance security and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
  • 7 years of demonstrated experience in a senior DevOps or CI/CD capacity, including 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Expertise in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is required.
  • This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Success Metrics:
  • In your first month, you will gain essential knowledge about Collibra's processes and tools while building relationships within the team and across functions.
  • By the third month, you will operationally oversee the team, take charge of the CI/CD processes, and collaborate to achieve quarterly objectives.
  • Within six months, you will manage the team, enhance employee engagement, lead cross-functional initiatives, and contribute to the strategy for continuous improvements.
Compensation Overview

The standard base salary range for this role is $168,000.00 to $281,000.00 annually. This position does not qualify for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are determined by various factors, including experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we provide equity ownership at all levels, bonus potential, a monthly Flex Fund stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
