Airport Capital Projects Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to lead our airport capital projects team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning, design, and construction, with experience in managing multi-disciplined teams and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of planners, architects, engineers, and other professionals to guide the planning, design, permitting, procurement, construction, and activation of various airport capital improvement projects.
  • Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to develop a business case for potential capital projects.
  • Develop and present preliminary design alternatives and comparative analysis to address requests and/or concerns from leadership and/or project stakeholders.
  • Review planning and design submittals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance to applicable project requirements.
  • Solicit feedback from internal and external project stakeholders and guide design teams through competing interests and project constraints.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a licensed architect.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and planning and design software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as AAAE, CASp, LEED, PMP, etc.
  • Experience with alternative delivery methods and aviation regulatory agencies.
