About the Role

This Administrative Specialist III position plays a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of patient health records. As the lead of the health information management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all records are compliant with regulatory requirements and that staff receive proper training on health records management and EHR systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement QA/QI processes to monitor the quality of health records
  • Collaborate with the Division HIM team to identify and address any issues related to health records management
  • Provide training and support to staff on health records management and EHR systems
  • Represent the health information management team at departmental meetings and provide updates on key initiatives
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in health information or related field
  • Experience working with EHR systems, including Epic
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits:The estimated salary for this position is $59,675.20 - $75,649.60 annually. King County offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and a 457(b) deferred-compensation plan.
