Job Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with Businesses: Establish and maintain relationships with businesses via phone and written correspondence to resolve outstanding balances and disputed invoices.
  • Investigate and Resolve Claims: Conduct thorough investigations to obtain reliable contact information, negotiate claims' resolution with insurance carriers, attorneys, and responsible parties, and establish agreements for lien releases.
  • Manage Accounts: Maintain minimum account work standards as assigned by Management, negotiate settlements, and recover money from responsible parties in tort liability claims.
  • Prepare Correspondence: Prepare investigative correspondence and acquire background information when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Independent Judgment: Exercise independent judgment to make decisions and resolve issues.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with insurance carriers, attorneys, and responsible parties.
  • Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry, and strong computer skills, with Excel preferred.
  • Critical Thinking: Demonstrate critical thinking skills to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain strong attention to detail and goal-oriented mindset.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly Rate: $16-18 per hour plus commission.
