Job Responsibilities:- Communicate with Businesses: Establish and maintain relationships with businesses via phone and written correspondence to resolve outstanding balances and disputed invoices.
- Investigate and Resolve Claims: Conduct thorough investigations to obtain reliable contact information, negotiate claims' resolution with insurance carriers, attorneys, and responsible parties, and establish agreements for lien releases.
- Manage Accounts: Maintain minimum account work standards as assigned by Management, negotiate settlements, and recover money from responsible parties in tort liability claims.
- Prepare Correspondence: Prepare investigative correspondence and acquire background information when necessary.
- Independent Judgment: Exercise independent judgment to make decisions and resolve issues.
- Negotiation Skills: Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes with insurance carriers, attorneys, and responsible parties.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry, and strong computer skills, with Excel preferred.
