This position demands exceptional organizational and communication capabilities to guarantee that projects are executed punctually, within financial constraints, and to the highest quality standards.
Core Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Strategically plan, coordinate, and manage excavation and underground wet utility projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution of all project phases.
- Financial & Timeline Management: Formulate and oversee project budgets and timelines. Track expenditures and project schedules, proactively addressing any challenges that may emerge.
- Team Leadership: Direct and mentor project teams, including subcontractors and field personnel. Provide clear guidance and support to foster effective team performance.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for clients, delivering regular updates and addressing any inquiries or modifications to the project scope.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work adheres to industry standards and complies with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Prepare and present project updates as necessary.
- Safety Management: Implement and uphold safety protocols on-site to guarantee a secure working environment for all team members.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management within the excavation and underground wet utility sector.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of excavation processes, utility installation, and industry regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
