Requirements:
A high school diploma is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
FINRA SIE & Series 6 Licenses are essential.
State Life & Health and Series 63 or 66 licenses must be acquired within 90 days of employment.

Willingness to register and maintain registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) is required to comply with the Safe Act regulations.

A minimum of three years of experience in banking, investments, cash handling, sales, and customer service is preferred.
Leadership or supervisory skills are advantageous.

SUMMARY:

Senior Licensed Personal Bankers are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service while identifying sales opportunities and executing account transactions.

The Senior Licensed Personal Banker is accountable for the consistent implementation of consumer-focused and business relationship-building initiatives within a full-service banking center.

This role primarily emphasizes daily sales objectives and requires proactive customer engagement, including in-person and telephonic discussions regarding specific banking needs.

The Senior Licensed Personal Banker is also expected to dedicate considerable time to initiating outbound calls aimed at effective customer onboarding, prospecting new retail and WesBanco Securities, Inc. clients, and consistently cross-selling both new and existing retail banking relationships.

Additionally, the Senior Licensed Personal Banker will support the Banking Center Manager in targeted external sales efforts and engage in community service activities within the designated market.

From an operational perspective, the Senior Licensed Personal Banker must adhere to all established policies, procedures, and security protocols of both the Bank and WesBanco Securities, Inc.

Responsibilities include functioning as a teller, assisting in supervisory roles, and providing necessary support to achieve the banking center's sales and operational goals as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge.

Effectively assess the financial needs of Banking Center clients and provide suitable recommendations to meet those needs.

Consistently achieve and surpass defined sales targets for loans, deposits, WesBanco Securities, Inc. solutions, partner referrals, and profitability.

Promote a sales-oriented culture within the banking center by demonstrating a strong ability to sell and cross-sell the Bank's products and services to meet individual and team sales objectives.

Foster effective communication and collaboration with branch staff and peers to promote a team environment and ensure goal attainment.

Continuously monitor performance against banking center objectives by adjusting individual goals and initiating sales promotions as necessary.

Engage in consistent outbound calling activities within the banking center using customer lists. Cross-sell effectively and make appropriate business line referrals as defined by location goals.
Prioritize and follow through on the execution of defined sales and service activities.
Advocate for company products and services within the community to support the ongoing growth of the Bank.

Ensure the smooth operation of all daily activities, including but not limited to: customer service, opening and closing procedures, daily vault duties, cash level control, and maintaining adequate inventory supply, audit, and compliance requirements.

Actively participate in regular sales and staff meetings.
Provide assistance to customers and prospective clients on various banking and WesBanco Securities, Inc. matters, including product explanations and professional problem resolution.
Build successful working relationships with internal business partners and seek constructive peer feedback when appropriate.

Exhibit sound judgment and decision-making by adhering to established guidelines and procedures while utilizing appropriate resources for assistance when necessary.

Maintain prescribed security measures to protect both self and the banking center from criminal and fraudulent activities and unnecessary risks.

Uphold a position of trust and responsibility by safeguarding all sensitive information and customer data in a secure manner.

Contribute to a team environment to meet customer needs by answering incoming calls and performing additional duties to support the success of the Banking Center, including processing teller transactions as required.

Demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems and manage a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


Banking is a highly regulated field, and you will be expected to maintain proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures while adhering to all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to your conduct and responsibilities.

Completion of all assigned compliance training in a timely manner is also expected.

Proactive selling and referral of non-traditional solutions through WesBanco Securities, Inc. and Wealth Management.
Strong product knowledge is essential for the level of selling and cross-selling performance expected in this role.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and adapt are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook 365 and other banking software programs is necessary.
Sound mathematical and analytical skills are preferred.
