The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Strategy Analyst to join our Card Analytics team in Charlotte, NC. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and optimize credit risk underwriting, pricing strategies, and acquisition approaches. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven solutions that enhance our lending portfolio and drive profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, recommend, and execute consumer credit underwriting and pricing strategies using historical customer performance data from multiple systems.
  • Utilize data query tools and decision tree analytical software to develop, test, and execute new strategies.
  • Develop and estimate customer behaviors using traditional regression models and machine learning algorithms.
  • Drive profitable business growth by developing strategy optimization frameworks with a full credit-cycle view.
  • Implement Quality Control processes to ensure data accuracy.
  • Continually enhance existing processes and reporting through automation, quality control, presentation, and insights.
  • Effectively summarize and present results and insights to management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Graduate Preferred) in a quantitative discipline, such as Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, or Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving.
  • Strong SQL, SAS, and Excel skills required; experience with multiple types of relational databases, BI tools/platforms, and/or additional programming languages is a plus.
  • Innovative and capable of developing a highly analytical approach to solving problems.
  • Lending or consumer finance industry experience preferred.
