Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure consistent service excellence by all team members, resulting in a clean, functional, and friendly environment and culture.
- Team Management: Hire, train, encourage team members to deliver Club Fitness' service promise consistently.
- Decision-Making: Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
- Team Development: Heighten, develop, and foster a strong organizational customer service focused team.
- Strategy Planning: Contribute to short and long-term strategy planning, including initiatives geared toward organizational excellence.
- Workload Management: Assist with Club Staff workloads to ensure smooth and efficient business operation.
- Policy and Procedure: Stay up to date with company policies and procedures to maintain consistency with Club Staff.
- Culture Development: Maintain an organizational culture that attracts, retains, and motivates top-quality employees.
- Communication: Communicate and respond on all pertinent issues and concerns regarding staffing, sales, services, member issues, and employee relations to leadership.
- Incident Reporting: Assist with Member Incident Reports (MIRs) and Employee Incident Reports (EIR).
- Inventory Management: Inventory (counting and ordering) for all operational needs of the Club.
- Facility Maintenance: Assist with Help Desk tickets and follow-up with facility and equipment repairs.
- Scheduling: Scheduling of MEA/Kids club staff-assist with coverage as needed (flexible schedule in correlation to the needs of the club/scheduling gaps).
- Cleanliness: Support leadership in maintaining a clean gym environment, including identifying opportunities in cleanliness, assigning and inspecting the facility audit, and taking an active role in training staff on the Club Fitness standards regarding cleanliness.
- Education: High School diploma or GED, required.
- Age: 18 years of age or older, required.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, and leadership preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and a positive attitude, strong multitasking abilities, and ability to work varying hours as needed.
This role requires travel to the corporate office and other Club Fitness locations as needed for training and meetings. The successful candidate will be required to work outside normal work hours when dictated by workload.
Physical Requirements: Extended periods of standing and moving about the facility, occasional lifting of gym equipment may be needed.
