Position Overview

As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will embody the company's commitment to exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets while adhering to company policies and procedures. You will set a standard for your peers through the precision and thoroughness of your work, contributing to a cohesive team environment focused on presenting the store and its offerings in the most appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an outstanding shopping experience by being knowledgeable and approachable, ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales techniques and service standards.
  • Stay informed about current promotions and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively and organized effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the store, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Enhance your product knowledge and fitting skills to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Be vigilant regarding Loss Prevention measures to protect company assets and maintain a safe shopping environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including shipping and receiving tasks, and support merchandise placement on the sales floor as needed.
  • Process transactions accurately and in compliance with established policies, ensuring all products are checked for completeness.
Essential Relationships

Engage effectively with customers, collaborate with fellow Sales Specialists, and maintain communication with Store Management and District/Regional Managers.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Basic communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, along with organizational and mathematical abilities. Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in specialty retail or footwear, is preferred. Familiarity with company policies and procedures, as well as visual merchandising standards, is advantageous.
