Key Responsibilities- Consult with customers to understand their crop protection and fertilizer needs, making recommendations for products and services that meet their requirements.
- Develop and implement annual sales programs that include soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, and timely application to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the Precision Ag Department to interpret soil sample results and make fertilizer application recommendations.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and product promotions to discuss with the Agronomy Sales Manager.
- Assist with agronomy plant operations as needed and provide excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Agri-Business or a related field.
- At least three years of related experience in crop protection sales or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge of fertilizer, chemical, and seed products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
