Job Title: Sales Clerk

Delaware North is seeking a Sales Clerk to join our team at Kennedy Space Center. As a Sales Clerk, you will be responsible for daily sales reporting and accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Record all daily sales activity, calculations of gratuities, and commissions.
  • Reconcile receipts and issue revenue share sub-tenant payments in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile sales, invoices, and checks received to the general ledger.
  • Track accounts receivable, generate monthly reports as it relates to daily sales reporting.
  • Ensure that all deferred revenue entries are accurate and investigate the activity, as applicable.
  • Reconcile account balances and accruals such as rent, credit cards, private label.
  • Maintain the DSR AR processes, schedule new DSR events, and assist with month-end closing.
  • Handle queries from management, guests, and the corporate office in a timely manner.
  • Ensure coverage of office responsibilities; assist in all aspects, participate in cross-training when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree in accounting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Two years of related accounting software and spreadsheet experience are preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a deadline-orientated environment, with accuracy and neatness.
  • Ability to travel up to 5 percent to other locations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, viewing computer screens and performing repetitive movements for the length of a shift.
  • Ability to carry and maneuver uniform inventory frequently.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and carry up to 35 lbs. frequently.
