Senior Private Equity Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Senior Private Equity Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing business development strategies and executing sales initiatives to drive growth of our due diligence research product.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Capstone's coverage industries and be knowledgeable across various topics, including investment strategy and regulatory developments. You will work closely with our sales team to position value-added services with private equity and portfolio company clients and enhance our market position.
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, dental insurance, paid vacation, travel stipend, and 401(k).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth of our due diligence research product
- Build relationships with private equity firms and portfolio companies to position value-added services
- Work closely with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Capstone's coverage industries and emerging trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance market positioning and client engagement
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the private equity industry
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding customer bases
- Strong understanding of investment strategy, regulatory developments, and industry trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
