Job Summary

This is a high-level administrative support position that provides confidential assistance to the President of Baltimore City Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the office's administrative affairs, coordinating meetings and events, and maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the management of the office's administrative affairs, including coordinating meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the President, including maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Coordinate and manage the office's budget and expenditures.
  • Assist with the review and preparation of documents, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and community members.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience providing executive-level administrative assistance.
  • Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, sensitivity, and understanding of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students and staff.
