Job Overview - Medical Claims Processing Associate

As a Medical Claims Processing Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical claims process for our clients.

Your primary focus will be on personal injury protection medical coverage, where you will evaluate accident details, medical documentation, and relevant terminology. You will also be responsible for adjusting claims while fostering strong relationships with clients.

We value your passion for assisting others, and in return, we will provide you with the necessary training in insurance practices, empowering you to communicate confidently with clients.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to work in the office for two days as determined by local management, while you can choose your work location for the remaining three days, whether at home or in the office, for a duration of 12 months.

Post this period, the days you will be required to attend the office for essential meetings, training, and collaboration will depend on business needs.

In this supportive hybrid environment, you will receive guidance from your leaders and experienced colleagues to build relationships, establish connections, and share best practices that are vital for your professional growth.

If you prefer a traditional office setting, you are welcome to work in the office as frequently as you desire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research policy contracts, regulations, and causes of injury to make informed coverage decisions.
  • Conduct investigations to understand the connections between medical records and motor vehicle incidents, injuries, or health conditions.
  • Identify and analyze wage loss expenses and documentation for payment evaluation.
  • Review and interpret policy language when subrogation requests are received.

Qualifications:

Must possess one of the following:

  • Three years of relevant work experience OR
  • Two years of relevant work experience along with an associate degree.

Schedule:

Training hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Post-Training Schedule:

Monday to Friday, either 8 AM - 5 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Compensation:

Upon successful completion of training and passing any required assessments, your salary will range from $51,000 to $54,500 annually. For the initial months, compensation will be hourly based on your annual salary.
