Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster II to join our team at CCMSI. As a leading Third Party Administrator in self-insurance services, we deliver exceptional service to our clients. This role is responsible for investigating and adjusting multi-line liability claims, requiring a strong understanding of claims handling procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims in accordance with established claims handling procedures.
  • Review medical, legal, and miscellaneous invoices to determine reasonableness and relation to ongoing liability claims.
  • Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, ensuring compliance with client authorization.
  • Assist in selecting and supervising defense attorneys.
  • Monitor subrogation claims for resolution and prepare reports detailing claims, payments, and reserves.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Florida General Liability/Auto claims, with a Florida Adjuster's License.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing environments.
  • Discretion and confidentiality required, with the ability to work as a team member in a rapidly changing environment.
