Job Summary

The Claims Coordinator is responsible for resolving invoice discrepancies from inception to resolution, interacting with Distribution Centers, suppliers, and carriers. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate claims through various avenues, both internal and external, for resolution to the claim.
  • Document all claim requests in appropriate systems, including gathering pictures, BOLs, delivery receipts, etc.
  • Record adjustments for claim completion, including inventory adjustments, credits/debits to customers and vendors.
  • Identify and report non-compliant occurrences to the supervisor.
  • Develop productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Support the development and administration of relevant KPI metrics and reports.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or relevant work experience.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience and/or 1-2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Language and Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Access.
  • Process-oriented with the ability to document and articulate complex systems.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work is usually performed in an office environment with normal noise levels. Involves prolonged sitting and computer/phone usage.
