Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Systems Administration Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Linux-based systems and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
  • Lead and collaborate with a diverse team to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities.
  • Define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
  • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
  • Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
  • Travel required to other US Domestic locations as business needs dictate.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of prior relevant experience.
  • S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) within 6 months of start date.
  • Direct working experience in RedHat Linux environments.
  • Linux/RHEL administration, Active Directory, WSUS, VMware, administration and networking administration experience, Windows administration, and recovery enterprise suites.
  • Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
  • Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
  • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
  • Experience with Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, and/or Exchange.
  • High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.

  • Competitive salary range: $77,000 - $163,000.
