Job Title: VMware System Administrator

At CyberMyte, we are seeking a highly skilled VMware System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers and workstations, ensuring they comply with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers and workstations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with servers, workstations, and network devices
  • Perform regular backups and implement Disaster Recovery Procedures
  • Maintain inventory of all hardware and software
  • Support network infrastructure and optimize networking equipment for performance
  • Collaborate with IT security specialists to ensure systems meet all required security policies and standards
  • Conduct training for users on new systems and stay ahead of future technology needs
  • Track and apply security patches for servers, workstations, and network devices
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Server administration (SQL Server, Microsoft Server 2016, domain controllers)
  • Proficient in system backups, configuration, and restoration
  • Knowledge of ICS systems and cybersecurity standards
  • Ability to handle network troubleshooting and maintain system security in compliance with DoD standards
