Position Summary: The Customer Support Specialist will engage with taxpayers, offering guidance and support regarding the Property Tax Relief programs. This role requires effective communication skills and a strong understanding of the relevant guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to Inquiries: Handle calls related to the Property Tax Relief Hotline, addressing taxpayer questions about eligibility and filing procedures.
- Application Review: Assist in correcting errors on filed applications by gathering accurate information and ensuring completeness.
- Record Adjustment: Facilitate the adjustment of taxpayer records and simplify the filing process by providing essential information and support.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of all required testing by the New Jersey Department of Revenue.
- Proficient in PC usage within a Windows environment.
- Basic keyboarding capabilities.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
