Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist them with their coats and personal items.
- Promptly and professionally address any inquiries or concerns from guests.
- Efficiently manage the check-in process for coats, bags, and personal items, ensuring secure storage and accurate tagging with claim tickets.
- Organize and categorize items within the coat check area to minimize the risk of loss or mix-ups.
- Accurately and swiftly retrieve items for guests when they are ready to depart.
- Monitor the coat check area to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of all belongings.
- Report any suspicious activities or security issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Handle lost or forgotten items in accordance with established venue policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the coat check area throughout the shift.
- Regularly check and replenish supplies such as claim tickets, hangers, and storage hooks.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the coat check area at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Comply with all company guidelines and procedures.
Essential Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a guest service role or similar position in hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems is advantageous.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
