Job Title: Electrical Substation Superintendent

At InfraSource Electric, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Substation Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our substation operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with regional safety manager to prepare a site-specific project safety plan and submit to clients.
  • Monitor and review equipment, including use, storage, servicing, damage, rentals, and fuel reports.
  • Accountable for equipment maintenance and repair, as well as tracking and resolving or mitigating issues associated with cost, progress, and schedule.
  • Review and monitor project reports, including labor and equipment costs, and ensure compliance with safety programs.
  • Assist with updating schedules and progress reports, and ensure that all contract-related documents are secure and copies are forwarded to key management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of six years of experience in the specific craft and a minimum of four years of continuous Electric Transmission and/or Substation construction and maintenance experience at a supervisory personnel classification level.
  • Valid class "B" commercial driver's license.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to work in storm restoration operations to rebuild and/or repair damaged power systems.
  • Ability to attend training classes or seminars to gather knowledge of new processes, safety regulations, and/or refresher training.
