Job Summary:

Turner Construction is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Superintendent to lead our Mechanical and Electrical systems team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely completion of projects, while maintaining the highest level of quality and adhering to budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors and Turner trade labor with regard to Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Ensure safety, schedule delivery, quality of work performed, and adherence to budget of the project.
  • Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and interns, as assigned.
  • Manage the overall site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards and all applicable safety codes and regulations.
  • Communicate with owners and architects/engineers in connection with field issues and investigate and resolve such issues.
  • Manage the billing process and oversee the monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payment applications.
  • Work with the Engineer on the coordination effort for all Mechanical and Electrical systems, equipment, and piping layouts for all trades on a master coordination set of drawings and 3D model.
  • Lead project inspections, startup, commissioning, turnover, and training process, and punchlist required for acceptance and handover of all the systems.
  • Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, local and national codes.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Mechanical and Electrical systems and construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
