EHS Co-Op Job Description

Entegris is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHS Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sustainability and recycling audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost savings and cost avoidance projects.
  • Collect and analyze data for ISO audit checklists and internal auditing activities.
  • Perform PPE assessments and integrate them into work instructions.
  • Audit and update JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and integrate them into SAP Work Instructions.
  • Take over monthly EHS-LT data population and scheduling.
  • Write safety snaps bi-weekly newsletter topics and collaborate with the EHS department.
  • Provide New Hire Orientation every/every other Monday.
  • Collaborate with the production floor workforce to assess risk and perform inspections.
  • Update facility maps with ETQ Doc # and Rev # in the bottom right corner.
  • Assist in EHS auditing and task closure.
  • Conduct monthly ERT bag inspections and order necessary supplies.
  • Participate in ERT team initiatives and table top scenarios.
  • Assist with emergency response drills.
  • Perform PPE floor sticker audits as needed.
  • Update committee communications on projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational safety, occupational health, engineering, environmental science, or other EHS-related technical discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience working with OSHA, US EPA, and state-level compliance programs and regulations.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials management and environmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships quickly and effectively at all levels throughout the company.
  • Ability to work with people in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with Executive Management, Front Line Supervision, and other employees.
  • High level of initiative, teamwork, and ownership.
  • Ability to use a computer, email, video conference tools, and office software.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter and motivated individual who stays motivated while challenging and promoting innovative ideas.
  • Experience in Industrial Manufacturing.
