Job Title: EHS Co-Op

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EHS Co-Op to join our team at Entegris. As an EHS Co-Op, you will play a critical role in supporting our site's environmental, health, and safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct sustainability and recycling audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
  • Assist with ISO audit checklists, data collection, and internal auditing activities.
  • Perform PPE assessments and integrate findings into work instructions.
  • Audit and update JSA (Job Safety Analysis) documents and integrate them into SAP work instructions.
  • Take ownership of monthly EHS-LT data population and scheduling.
  • Write safety snaps for a bi-weekly newsletter and collaborate with the EHS department on content.
  • Provide new hire orientation every other Monday.
  • Collaborate with the production floor team to assess risk, perform inspections, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Update facility maps to include ETQ document numbers and revisions.
  • Assist with EHS auditing and task closure.
  • Conduct monthly ERT bag inspections and order necessary supplies.
  • Participate in ERT team initiatives, including tabletop scenarios.
  • Assist with emergency response drills.
  • Perform PPE floor sticker audits as needed.
  • Update committee communications on projects as needed.
  • Install ERT signs in designated locations.
  • Create a library for EHS stickers, including GHS, caution, warning, and pinch point signs.
  • Update SDS documents through Actio Chemical storage library.
  • Participate in ergonomics team initiatives, including assessments and implementing improvements.
  • Conduct process auditing to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase effectiveness.
  • Create quick tools for supervisors and leads to facilitate EHS reporting.
Requirements:
  • Working towards a Bachelor of Science degree in occupational safety, occupational health, engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Experience working with OSHA, US EPA, and state-level compliance programs and regulations.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials management and environmental regulations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop relationships quickly and effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Effective communication skills with executive management, front-line supervision, and other employees.
  • High level of initiative, teamwork, and ownership.
  • Ability to use a computer, email, video conference tools, and office software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with a strong motivation to promote innovative ideas.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing.
