Job Summary:
Cherry Hill Public Schools is seeking a highly qualified AFJROTC Educator to join our team. As a Military Science Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFJROTC) program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans to teach students about military science, leadership, and character development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive educational experience for students.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in teaching and learning.
- Assist with the management of the AFJROTC program, including supervising students during activities and events.
Requirements:
- NJ Military Science Certification
- Proficiency with Turning Point Cloud and WINGS database software
- Proficiency with Google Classroom and associated programs
- Knowledge of Genesis Student Management System
- Proficiency with Instructional Technology
- Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
