About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F-35B/C Instructor Console Operator to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for facilitating pilot instruction using the Full Mission Simulators (FMS) and operating Instructor Operating Stations (IOS) to support mission planning, pilot training execution, and mission debrief.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct instructional sessions, briefings, follow-ups, and proficiency checks on flight simulators in accordance with federal air regulations and company policies and procedures.
Evaluate trainee progress and recommend qualification or additional training.
Review simulator design and training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency.
Coordinate utilization schedules for training flight crews and necessary engineering support.

Requirements:

A current final secret security clearance with investigation within 5 years.
Able to maintain Special Program Access Clearance (PAR).
Strong systems engineering or technical background.
Willingness to travel to support mission requirements.

Desired Skills:

Experience interfacing with customer at military locations.
Experience with F-35 pilot training curriculum.
Familiarity with F-35 program requirements.
F-35 system knowledge.
F-35 Full Mission Simulator experience.
Familiarity with the F-35 ALIS program.
Currently possess F-35 Program special access.
Relevant tactical experience in related skillsets (i.e. Air Controller, JTAC, etc.).
