Job Title: Doorman | Guest Services

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Doorman to join our team at Omni Hotels. As a Doorman, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a warm welcome to our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Welcome: Greet all guests and welcome them to the hotel, offering assistance with their baggage and directions to the Front Desk.
  • Baggage Handling: Unload baggage from cars or taxis and bring it inside to the Bellstand, tagging it with the proper claim checks and providing the guest with their claim ticket.
  • Direction and Assistance: Direct guests to the Front Desk and assist them with any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the Front Desk and Bell Captain to ensure seamless service.
  • Appearance and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the work area at all times, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service: A high propensity for customer service and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our guests.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, providing support and assistance to colleagues as needed.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends.

Working Environment: The Doorman will work primarily in the exterior and on occasion interior of the hotel, with exposure to weather conditions. The ability to lift and carry luggage weighing up to 50lbs is also required.
