Compensation and Benefits Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to manage our payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll software and systems, as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is not necessary, but a minimum of one to three years of experience in a similar role is required.
This position involves working in an office environment, with occasional travel to construction sites or other locations.
Responsibilities:- Process payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation.
- Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, and internal control.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
