About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to manage our payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll software and systems, as well as excellent organizational and analytical skills.

A bachelor's degree in a related field is not necessary, but a minimum of one to three years of experience in a similar role is required.

This position involves working in an office environment, with occasional travel to construction sites or other locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation.
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll accounting software, systems, and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of payroll functions, including preparation, balancing, and internal control.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.

Estimated Salary:
