Quality Assurance Leader

Location: Sheboygan Falls, WI

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the Spartech team, the Quality Assurance Leader will play a critical role in enhancing our quality systems and product evaluations within our manufacturing facility. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a culture that prioritizes safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the comprehensive quality systems and testing protocols for the production facility.
  • Supervise and mentor Quality lab personnel to ensure high standards of performance.
  • Engage in Plant Management duties, including safety and operational oversight.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes are controlled and compliant with customer specifications.
  • Monitor and regulate process conditions to maintain product consistency.
  • Implement changes to products and processes following established IATF procedures.
  • Conduct testing in alignment with Spartech Lab Performance Policy and relevant Mil-Specifications.
  • Act as a representative for the plant in professional interactions with customers and stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints, providing technical and quality support.
  • Coordinate investigations and corrective actions for customer-related issues.
  • Utilize Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, FMEA, and 5S tools to foster continuous improvement.
  • Assess and fulfill quality training needs for all site personnel.
  • Support EHS policies and initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • 5-7 years of experience managing direct reports.
  • Proficient in collaborating with Cross Functional teams.
  • Experience in managing EHS procedures.
  • Strong computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft and SAP is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Reporting Structure:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.
