Job Description:

Unity Works Staffing & Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality systems to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective action activities to resolve quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce defects.
  • Statistically analyze test data to drive quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GFSI standards, prerequisite programs, and GMP practices.
  • Assist with supplier quality management to ensure specifications are clear and suppliers meet quality requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma training or certification preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, conducting quality analysis, quality improvement, and quality support.
  • Experience using standard quality tools such as Corrective Action, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, etc.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and statistical knowledge, preferably with experience in Minitab.
  • Experience with BRCGS or other GFSI food safety standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.
