Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Patient Access Liaison to join our team at Summa Health System. As a key member of our clinical access team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences from initial contact to registration and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist callers and patients with way-finding, appointment scheduling, pre-service registration, insurance verification, co-pay collection, and physician referrals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, presenting a positive impression of Summa Health and upholding our commitment to servant leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-high school coursework in healthcare, accounting, business, or public relations preferred.
  • One year of customer service or general office support experience; contact or call center experience a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, offering and accepting constructive feedback, and supporting team goals.
